What is the Perry-Jackson Child Advocacy Center?
- We serve children in Perry and Jackson counties who have been victims of sexual abuse and/or serious physical abuse.
- We work with the non-offending family members, ensuring that they receive the support needed for the whole family.
- We work with the State's Attorneys, law enforcement agencies, mental health providers, medical providers, and Department of Children and Family Services.
- We provide linkage to counseling and medical services for the child and families, including transportation.
- We provide court support services.
- We facilitate MDT meetings to staff the cases.
- We provide a child friendly environment where the child can be interviewed.
- We are available to conduct informative presentions concerning child abuse.
